Two 1 hour figure studies + Painter 12 hint

This was interesting because I found out that lowering the Opacity for Artists Oils really makes a difference. I never really tried it before because it didn't really work with Oil Pastels. That being said the one on the left was done with opacity at 100% up until near the end when I discovered it and the one to the right was done with opacity set to 40% when I needed to render. Both were done in an hour. - I personally see a difference. I managed to get more done on the figure to the right as well. Which is nice :333

Painting Process: The Thumbnail

Okay so I'm bored and decided that the blog is probably my only source of entertainment. Sad really. Maybe I should play a video game... Or exercise...*cough*

Anyways, this little tutorial (not really a tutorial...) will just show my process of rendering a thumbnail. Now I was a bit lazy with this and I didn't really focus so much on design. I just wanted to render something. So don't take this as a guide to designing or anything. I'll also explain the tools I use for this.

The program is Painter 12.

Anatomy studies

I love this new book called Anatomy For The Artist (Sarah Simblet) great reference for anatomy and stuff. Would recommend to buy. I'm probably going to make a proper review for it on this blog later.
